Naimisha Shakti Peetha

Shri Maa Lalita Devi Temple is the principal Goddess shrine of Naimisharanya in Sitapur District, Uttar Pradesh. Naimisharanya is an ancient pilgrimage landscape on the Gomti River containing Chakratirth, Bhooteshwar Nath and numerous other sacred sites. The district administration counts Lalita Devi Temple among the fifty-one Shakti Peethas and describes Lalita Devi as the presiding deity of Naimisharanya.
